About Skateboard Camp, KL
Skateboard camp at Mont Kiara Skatepark is an exhilarating experience for skateboard enthusiasts age 7 and above. Nestled amidst the bustling cityscape, this vibrant skatepark offers the perfect setting for campers to hone their skateboarding skills. From beginners to advanced riders, there is something for everyone at this camp. Expert coaches are on hand to provide personalized instruction, teaching students how to perfect their ollies, kickflips, and grinds. Safety is paramount, with students equipped with proper protective gear. Beyond just skateboarding, students also have the opportunity to bond with fellow skaters, making lifelong friendships and memories.
Skateboarding with JRSkates means that we not only focus on the techniques but on highlighting essential life skills such as bravery, perseverance and discipline. Kids will mingle and create in a judgement free space encouraging them to support each other and learn from their community.
Whether it's mastering new tricks, competing in mini-contests, or simply soaking in the skateboarding culture, the skateboard camp in Mont Kiara Skatepark promises an unforgettable and transformative experience.

What’s included
Skateboarding 101
We will teach the fundamental of skateboarding and also the important values and benefits that make skateboarding great. Beginner skateboarders will become confident and hold a firm foundation in skateboarding while Intermediate boarders will learn new tricks with a focus on leadership.
Skateducation
Using social - emotional learning with a hands on approach to teach skateboarding and essential life skills. Skateboarding is the perfect tool to practice life lessons such as perseverance, confidence, discipline and so many more. Paired with activities, students can learn to recognise their behaviours and be given the frameworks to manage them.
Mini-Competition
We will end the camp with a mini competition suited for each level of student attending based on their skills throughout the camp. A chance to show-off their new skills and encourage their fellow skateboarders.

Beginners - advanced skateboarders aged from 7 - 15 years.
Campers will be grouped by age/skill level with advanced skateboarders having the opportunity to work on their leadership skills. -
Participants will spend 3 days parents-free* immersed in skateboarding under the supervision of our coaches and camp counsellors.
From stretching and training to recovery, our coaches give campers the support they need to progress their skills, build self-confidence, and form community through the sport they love.

Skatecamp is parent free.
Parents will be invited to take part during the final day.
Campers are encouraged to take ownership and their teams will be given areas to be responsible for including their own teammates. Campers will be required to follow rules given to them by our Coaches and Campers who are seen to risk the safety of their fellow skaters will be asked to sit out or worse be sent home.Our Rule of Three protects campers from being alone with an adult
Toilet trips will be chaperoned by at least one adult of the same gender.
